Privacy policy

This is the personal website of Pasha Adam, a novelist. It exists to show his books and where to buy them. It is not a shop, it has no accounts, no comments, no newsletter sign-up and no forms. It collects as little as it is possible for a website to collect.

What this site collects

Directly: nothing. There is no form to fill in and no account to create. The site sets no cookies of its own and runs no analytics, so it builds no record of your visit and no profile of you.

Two small preferences are saved in your browser’s local storage — your light/dark choice and your cookie choice. They stay on your device and are never sent anywhere. See the Cookie policy.

Hosting logs

Like any website, this one is served by a hosting provider that may keep short-lived technical logs — IP address, timestamp, requested file, user agent — for security and to keep the service running. These are the hosting provider’s records, are not used to identify or track you, and are not combined with anything else.

If you email

The contact button opens your own email application addressed to pashaadamnovelist@gmail.com. Nothing is sent through this website. If you do write, that email — your address, your name if you give it, and whatever you say — is kept in the mailbox only so it can be read and replied to. It is not added to a mailing list, not shared and not used for anything else. The mailbox is provided by Google.

Third-party embeds

Where an Apple Music player is offered, it loads only with your permission. Once loaded, Apple receives your IP address and device information under Apple’s Privacy Policy. Refusing the embed costs you nothing else on the site.

Your rights

Under the UK GDPR and the EU GDPR you have the right to ask what personal data is held about you, to have it corrected or erased, to restrict or object to its processing, and to receive a copy of it. Given how little this site holds, in practice this normally concerns email correspondence.

To exercise any of these rights, write to pashaadamnovelist@gmail.com. If you are unhappy with the response, you can complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk, or to your local supervisory authority in the EU.

Children

These novels are written for adult readers. The site is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.

If this policy changes, the revised version will appear here with a new date at the top.
